Six Reasons to Buy GreenFlame ECO Logs
✅ Conforms to new (2020) solid fuel legislation.
✅ Versatile: GreenFlame ECO Logs can be used on open fires, wood burning stoves, fire pits, chimeneas and pizza ovens.
✅ Sustainable: GreenFlame ECO logs are made from wood sourced from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) registered forests in the UK.
We replant a tree for every one that we harvest.
✅ Efficient: GreenFlame ECO Logs have a moisture content half that of kiln-dried logs, which makes them twice as efficient at generating heat.
The wood is cut, chipped and kiln dried to ensure the wood moisture content is below 12%. The chips are then compressed to form Logs.
GreenFlame logs deliver more heat than regular kiln dried logs, because when heat is produced it is used firstly to drive off any residual moisture in the heat source.
✅ Quality Assured: GreenFlame ECO Logs are registered on the DEFRA Ready to Burn Scheme, the UK's only wood-fuel quality assurance scheme. We work with DEFRA to achieve the highest standards of wood fuel production.
✅ Made in the UK: GreenFlame ECO Logs are manufactured in Grimsby in the UK, using wood sustainably produced in UK forests.
✅ How our Eco Logs are made: We start with British timber.
We kiln-dry it in Grimsby and then grind it into chips so it can then be compressed into denser, more uniform and more thermally eficient Eco Logs that are slow-burning and give you more heat for your money than kiln dried logs. We think we make the best wood burner logs.
